FAQ

Why are there age restrictions?Due to the content of some of the available games, Games Night is currently restricted to people aged 15+.
I am not 15 yet, can I come with my older sibling or parent?Unfortunately we are not able to accept registrations from minors under the age of 15, so they cannot participate in Games Night.
However, for those between the ages of 12 and 18, we run a very similar, but separate free event called Gaming Together on Thursdays.
Why do I need to register?It is required that all participants register to provide information and contacts in case of emergency situations, and also for minors to receive consent from a parent/guardian.

Can I come in just to watch?Certainly, but even if you only plan to spectate, you must register, book, and pay as any other participant would.

Is there anything I should bring?You are not required to bring anything with you, but you may bring your own games, peripherals, drinks, and snacks if desired.
How do I get into the building?We provide entry through the Market Square entrance, on the north side of the paranaple centre, for 15 minutes before each session begins. If you arrive outside of these times, call or text us at
0444 525 434, and a Games Night Supervisor will let you in.
Do you have EFTPOS?Yes, we take both cash and card for session payments.
Am I able to eat and drink there?Yes, though we request that you take care to avoid mess or spills and that you wash your hands after eating before handling any electronic peripherals, game pieces, etc.
